In the framework of Jean Monnet project “Enhancing Knowledge of EU Green Finance Policies in Insurance and Business Valuation- Green FIB”, financed by the European Union as part of the Erasmus+ program, with project coordinator Prof. Dr. Gentiana Sharku, on January 17, 2024, the working group of the project organized a study visit with students of the Faculty of Economy, in the premises of the insurance company “Sigma VIG”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this visit, the students held an informative meeting with Mr. Klaidi \u00c7itozi, General Director of Vienna Insurance Group, on the topic “Green Insurance in Albanian Insurance Market”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jean Monnet “Green FIB” project aims to promote EU financial sustainability policies – for businesses and the insurance industry, and their transformation towards green initiatives, through teaching and research activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In support of this project, the meeting served to inform students about liability insurance practices for businesses and individuals, focusing on climate, environmental and social factors in strategy and risk management, with the aim of encouraging students’ creativity, regarding the implementation of green initiatives in the insurance market, which also meets the objectives of this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
