In the framework of the Jean Monnet project “Enhancing Knowledge of EU Green Finance Policies in Insurance and Business Valuation – Green FIB”, it was held an open lecture, in the premises of the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana. The activities took place with students of the Professional Master in Finance.
On 15.12.2023, Mrs. Anila Hoxha (Director of the Albanian Insurance Bureau), held a lecture for the module: “Insurance Market” on the topic “Liability Insurance and Green Insurance in Albanian Insurance Market”. The lecture dealt with liability insurance contracts for businesses and individuals, illustrated with practices of the insurance market in Albania, as well as the innovative “Green Insurance” products offered by Albanian insurance companies.
The activity was also focused on familiarizing students with practical cases for the Albanian, regional and international market, as well as case studies to encourage students to be more active and creative, which meets the objectives of this project.
The activity was taking place within the initiative of improving the curricula of study programs at FEUT, as well as aligning the curricula with EU directives and policies.
