In the framework of the Jean Monnet project “Enhancing Knowledge of EU Green Finance Policies in Insurance and Business Valuation – Green FIB”, were held three open lectures, in the premises of the Faculty of Economy, University of Tirana. The activities took place with students of the Professional Master in Finance, Master of Science in Risk Management and Master of Science in Finance.
The activities were organized:
On 15.01.2026, and Mr. Dorian Pashaj- Head of Sustainable Development Department at Procredit Bank, held a lecture for the module: “Financial Business Valuation”, on the topic “Green Finance. The impact of green finance on the business cost of the capital – Real Cases studies of Green Finance from Procredit Bank“. The lecture focused on the importance of green finance, the EU green deal and its impact on the business activities, as well as Procredit bank’s approach to sustainable development.
On 17.02.2026, and Mrs. Ina Çota- Risk Advisory Manager at Deloitte Albania Ltd, held a lecture for the module: “Business Financial Valuation”, on the topic “Importance of ESG and European Commitment to Sustainable Finance – Case studies from Albania and the Balkan region“. The lecture focused on the importance of ESG for businesses and especially on how businesses report within the EU directives referring to sustainable finance.
