In the framework of Jean Monnet project “Enhancing Knowledge of EU Green Finance Policies in Insurance and Business Valuation- Green FIB”, financed by the European Union as part of the Erasmus+ program:
On January 27, 2026, the project working group organized a study visit for students enrolled in the Master of Science in Risk Management and the Professional Master in Finance at the Faculty of Economy, to the premises of ProCredit Bank Albania. The visit provided students with valuable insights into the banking sector, with a particular focus on green financing and sustainable financial practices. Students also had the opportunity to learn more about career development and employment opportunities within the bank. The visit created an interactive environment where participants could connect academic knowledge with practical experiences from the financial industry.
On April 17, 2026, the working group of the project organized a study visit at the premises of the Sigal Insurance Group. During this visit, the students who attend the Intensive Course “ at the Faculty of Economy, University of Tirana. The study visit at SIGAL UNIQA Group Austria provided students with an excellent opportunity to gain practical insights into the insurance industry and corporate operations. It was discussed Green project insurance, or what is known as green insurance. It also discussed today’s platforms of this industry, the products that SIGAL has brought to Albania according to Western standards, and the importance of this industry in helping citizens. Company representative shared valuable information about the challenges and opportunities within the financial and insurance sector, sustainability, and digital transformation.
These experiences were highly informative and inspiring, contributing to the students’ academic and professional development.
