In the framework of Jean Monnet project “Transitioning to Teaching with Incorporated Education for Sustainable Development” (ToTinESD – 10123897), financed by the European Union as part of the Erasmus+ program:
On May 15, 2026, the project working group organized a study visit for students attending Bachelor study programs at FEUT to the premises of Eurosig Insurance Company. The visit provided students with valuable practical insights into the insurance industry, corporate operations, and the growing importance of sustainability within the financial sector. Particular attention was devoted to green project insurance, commonly referred to as green insurance, highlighting the role of insurance companies in supporting environmentally responsible investments and sustainable business practices. Company representatives also shared perspectives on current challenges and opportunities within the insurance and financial sector, with a special focus on sustainability and digital transformation. The visit created an interactive learning environment that enabled students to connect academic knowledge with practical industry experience while gaining a broader understanding of career opportunities in the field.
On May 28, 2026, the project working group organized a study visit to the premises of ProCredit Bank Albania. The visit offered students valuable insights into the banking sector, with a particular focus on the three main pillars that guide the bank’s sustainability-oriented activities and operations. Participants were also introduced to practical examples of businesses financed by the bank, illustrating the integration of sustainable practices within financial decision-making. In addition, students had the opportunity to explore career development pathways and employment opportunities within the institution. The visit was characterized by an interactive learning environment, enabling participants to connect academic knowledge with practical experiences from the financial industry.
These experiences proved to be highly informative and inspiring, making a valuable contribution to the students’ academic growth, professional development, and understanding of real-world industry practices.
